This image was created while being in a contemplative and meditative state in SPIRIT during February of 1992. I did not fully understand what SPIRIT was showing in the Mind until I sketched it on paper. I observed a spiral with weaving lines but did not understand the meaning or its purpose, and I thought, "Gee, that's strange what does that mean?" Soon it became apparent that I was observing the manifestation and unfolding of the Universe as it was being processed through the beginningless cycles of evolution in the process of Life, death, and rebirth of all things. The Mind became extremely busied and active as the mental focus intensified upon the subject at hand and lasted for four or five hours that only seem like minutes. I immediately recognized the works and operation of the fifth Hermetic Principle, the Principle of Rhythm (The Cycles). It displayed the dynamically Divineward, or Spiritward journey of all creation as it spirals upward and onward along the ascending scale of Life. All of Life is constantly rising through the various Mental Planes with each successive circular cycle of evolution that forms a spiral of mental advancement. With the completion of each successive cycle, or circle, the rising vibrational frequencies of Life's upward spiral toward an indeterminable destiny causes a rapid change and a quickening in the evolutionary process of space and time and affects everything including scientific discovery and personal individual progress regarding the deep secrets of the Universe.

This experience has left me with series of questions at that time:
1) Does the physically manifested Universe swirl like a whirlpool around the Infinite Mind of "The All," or SPIRIT (the cause) which is within the center of all things? as do the galaxies that swirl around their great central sun? and the atomic particles that are held together by the unexplained internal nuclear force?
2) Are centers within all things (the microcosm), holographic manifestations of the Omnipresent SPIRIT in the indeterminable and unknowable center of the Universe (the macrocosm)? "As Above, so below; as below, so Above." (The Planes of Correspondence.)
If the answers to questions one and two are "yes," then do we humans dwell in a Universe that is being constantly manifested with particles appearing from the surrounding Negative Pole, and constantly vibrating, moving, cycling, evolving, and maturing, as it migrates toward the Positive Pole (center) where all forms, animate or inanimate, large or small, will again disappear and return into their waveform aspect of SPIRIT from where they originally began. This would be an immutable and eternal process in the cosmology of Space, Time and Change. Nothing is ever lost. All these events would take place in a time frame so large that it may escape the wildest of dreams in the human imagination. The Spiral model can be utilized to explain the cycles on the Physical, Mental, and Spiritual planes of Correspondence. There is no doubt in my mind that the Spiral model can expand and unfold into new areas of Knowledge by anyone with a desire to do so. An open mind would be of great help in accomplishing this because there is much more to learn from the seen and unseen realms, the greater part which may escape the unsuspecting intellectual mind of man or woman.
If a person will only stop for a moment and take the time and effort to create a desire to learn and develop the unexplained faculties of the intuitive Mind, much of the darkened mysteries of Life becomes enlightened and knowable to them. They will clearly see the path ahead of them and their navigation through Life becomes rock solid, effortless, and timeless.
If the Universe is a manifestation of SPIRIT which is its center and causation, then the Universe, would be a constant manifested Universe that is eternally cycled through space, time and change. It would also be a Truth that all atomic and subatomic particles behave according to the efforts and wills of Infinite SPIRIT which is the LAW of all substances seen and unseen.
The swirling Universe also displays the Doppler effect in the red and blue shift of light waves from rapidly approaching and departing galaxies relative to the earth's position. When galaxies move rapidly towards earth, they create a bluish light in the ultra violet range (short wave) as they approach earth. When galaxies move rapidly away from the earth, they display a reddish light in the infra red range (long wave) as is observable from our planet. If celestial bodies swirl in a certain direction around and toward the center of the Universe at disproportional velocity around its axes, would it not make sense that some galaxies would appear to travel toward earth while others move rapidly away because of the difference in the traveling velocity including that of our own galaxy? It is very possible that the swirling celestial bodies around the polar axes of the Universe may have given rise to the Big Bang theory that everything must have exploded from a singular center because of the way that celestial bodies travel through space. When in fact, everything is indeed moving in a certain direction, but not from a big bang explosion or an expanding center, but from the rotational speed of celestial bodies around the polar axes of the Universe which is not perceivable by the human eye because of its limitations. The human eye is only capable of perceiving a minuscule portion of the Universe even with the advancement of such wonderful instruments as the Hubble Space Telescope. Because of this, it is not possible to draw a final scientific conclusion as to how the Universe originated. Besides, how do we determine the boundaries of something that is Infinite? How do we determine its boundaries in space when we can't even perceive our own position relative to the center of the Universe?
We can only establish imaginary parameters or boundaries of thinking that is based on what we "believe" the perceptible reality is in order to satisfy our own analytical intellect. However, The Truth will always unfold secrets out of its own accord and stupefy the human Mind, forcing it to expand and grow, or perish. Our theories and beliefs will always be subject to change until it resonates with the absolute Truth and this will cause a continuous immutable change in what we do, how we do it, and where we are going.
Within all of us dwells the wonderful region of Mind called the "Subconscious Mind" that which is capable of perceiving and penetrating into realities far beyond what the human eye is capable of accomplishing. All this is possible because the human Mind is holographically connected to the Mental nature of the Universe. This Mind is capable of freely applying the Principle of Correspondence and enables man, without leaving the seat of his observatory, to draw an untold knowledge from deep within him or herself about the Universe including that of the unmanifested reality. And they will bring Enlightenment to the human race to further the expansion of their Mind-- whomsoever will. But, for the moment, most have chosen "analytical theory" over the intuitive faculties of their own Mind and grope with painful effort to find an answer to the meaning of LIFE.
A noteworthy observation is that of the Griffith Park Observatory in California which astronomers have observed a very large "dense curtain of light" that is causing a glow across the Universe. Astronomers are unable to determine the origin or substance of this extremely dense curtain of light. They only know that it is impenetrable and because of its density they are unable to determine what the other side holds.
It is equally interesting to note, that the ancient Egyptian Philosopher, Hermes Trismegistus explained, while mentally communicating and discoursing with the INFINITE MIND of Poemandres, that SPIRIT is composed of LIFE and LIGHT and that the "terrible" great stature and enormity of SPIRIT left him with stupefied and almost speechless awe. During the encounter, he experienced as though he was overcome with sleep or a dream like state. Poemandres, or Pymander means, "The Shepherd of Man." Few philosophers if any to this day, are able to match the Knowledge and closeness that Hermes experienced with the "Source of all Life."
Perhaps, when a person today would experience a Spiritual encounter of such magnitude, they too will have great difficulty awakening out of their dream state of trivial and materialistic thinking and their trifling world would become violently shaken and violated. It is doubtful that such persons, at the moment, will encounter an experience as such, nay, not today and maybe not even tomorrow, perhaps in the next manifested life time, or the one after that, or the next.... But as always, there are a few who have managed to leap over the mortal boundaries and tearing away at the veil of mortality and gazing into the wonderful LIFE, LIGHT, and Wisdom of SPIRIT. They have set themselves apart from the world, availing themselves to the service of humanity. Their Spiritual experience would be indescribable and can only be understood by those who have walked the Path. The vast majority of the human race has no clue or concept as to the enormity of Omnipresent Intelligent SPIRIT.
In the course of time will the human race become increasingly enlightened and their consciousness raised, and they will discard the relics of a past that once pacified their meaningless cravings and they become as a changed people with a new vision and a new thought that will renew the golden age of prosperity and peace. These are the changes that will come in the future, but for now the human race is in travail and suffering the winds of change as they reach out for something that they know not what, crying for the relief of their sufferings. Each trough in the wave will always transform into a crest and bringing change to all things in the lapse of time.
Time is a relative measurement of the constant vibrational frequency of the evolutionary advancement in the Universe, i.e. the "yesterday,"of lapsed events, "today," which we measure in incremental values of seconds and hours, and "tomorrow," the fate or destiny of all Life. Events along the scale are recorded as history, or "His Story." The observing Mind can see the "advancing" changes in all things in the course of time.
The chart below shows what happens when the cycles are escaped through mental transmutation which I believe is the salvation that Jesus taught. Salvation is a quantum leap in evolution that enables a person to escape from the cyclic process of Life, death, and rebirth. The cycles of entropy and resulting mortality are immutable and can only be escaped by a renewal of the Mind and raising our individual mental states upon the higher planes of being. I was awestruck at the sight and added a few Hermetic Axioms and quotations of the scriptures on the charts. When looking at this image, it will require a moment of quiet thought and patience to fully understand its meaning....

All that occupies a given position on the scale of Life evolves upward or Divineward in a spiral toward SPIRIT and brings change in consciousness and physical form as it rises through various mental planes. There is nothing that can entirely escape the upward evolutionary process of creation, not even undifferentiated matter which occupies the lowest and utmost region in the scale of Life. Moreover, not all of Life evolves equally because that which occupies the lowest regions of the scale advance ever so slowly that it seems as though evolution is non-existent. But, even the things in the lowest region of the scale is included in the advancement of evolution and nothing is left behind. So slow the evolutionary process of the lower regions during the lapse of time that it escapes the observation and comprehension of most humans.
Above the Plane of Mineral Mind is the Plane of Plant Mind occupied by higher life forms which posses a greater awareness capable of experiencing rapid growth and decline, chemical composition and decomposition as they are cycled through Life, death, and rebirth in the evolutionary process of Life. Plant Mind can not escape the upward spiral of evolution, their evolutionary process is so slow as though evolution is non-existent but their advancement is more rapid than that of Mineral Mind. The life forms occupying the Plane of Plant Mind relies on the Life giving substance from the Plane of Mineral Mind to sustain Life in the vegetable plane. Minerals, vegetables, and animals, all rely on the Laws of Nature for their sustenance and their intuitive faculties are tuned toward Nature so that they will instinctively obey the forces and Laws in the process of their Life.
The life forms on the Plane of Animal Mind enjoy a greater freedom of movement than any of the lower planes by reason of their higher position in the scale of Life. They posses physical features such as legs that are not present in the minerals and vegetables and gives them a greater freedom of movement. Their intelligence and awareness is greater in the scale than that of the lower planes and thus they are endowed with a greater sense of reasoning. They absorb their Life giving force from the lower planes as food for their sustenance.
Above the Plane of Animal Mind is the Plane of Human Mind with a greater degree of consciousness awareness, reasoning power, and freedom of movement that is not present in the lower planes of existence. Man, because of his power of reasoning is capable of deviating from the Laws of Nature and create his own reality as seemingly apart from Nature's finer forces which is not possible for the lower life forms on the lower planes of being because they instinctively follow the rules of Nature. It is this sense of reasoning that enables the race to create their own reality of existence in the various forms of beliefs that manifest on the Physical Plane and often with the conflicting laws of the higher and lower planes of thought. Not all humans maintain their consciousness on the exact same plane of thought. Each human has positioned their consciousness on different positions of the scale some high, some lower, and a few have positioned themselves below the animal plane of thought that manifests their most darkest negative nature upon the physical plane giving them the ability to prey on other humans. But, Nature is not asleep or dead and will move to eliminate the violators of its forces and laws to maintain the equilibrium in all things.
Humans who have Spiritually developed and who have taken the desire, will, and effort, to continue their development will rapidly increase their evolutionary process and enjoy a greater vista of LIFE. Their panoramic view of the Universe is above that of their brothers and sisters on the lower planes who have chosen a position on the scale of Life by reason of their own personal beliefs that confines them to the plane of their choice. Because of this, are there conflicting views of reality between people as each has a different degree of mental awareness with the resulting disagreeing views in Life. The suffering of argument and disagreement are the results of the conflicting laws of the higher and lower plane as each person attempts to defend their turf of understanding and degree of awareness. Humans are creatures of habit and are resistant to change unless they have the desire and will to advance.
Each plane has its own set of forces and laws which are in conflict with the plane above as well as the plane below but each plane dwells in harmony with the higher and lower planes and the laws and forces of every plane are confined within each plane of being and kept in harmony and absolute order by the Will and Effort of the manifesting SPIRIT. When a person fails to escape the lower plane in its entirety, they often become suspended between the two planes and suffer the conflicting laws and forces of the two mental planes.
The solution to stop mental suffering is to drop all your defenses and learn to understand yourself first, educate yourself in the Arcane Knowledge and you will better understand the others with whom you share the earth plane. The ancient Hermetic wisdom echoes this axiom from a long forlorn and forgotten past; "Know Thyself well, and learn the things that are and all that is." Know that you can aspire by reason of your own upward gaze toward the higher planes of thought and know that you are constantly advancing by so doing. That which you gaze upon, is that which you become; it follows the mental nature of the Universe.
Unlike the minerals, vegetables, and animals, Humans have the liberty to live, move, and have their being, and they posses the ability to mentally slide upward as well as downward on the scale of Life with the resulting positive or negative manifestations in each person's Life. These various thoughts in the many levels of awareness and states of being can result in disagreement, debate, followed by war and violence on our planet as each human occupies a chosen position on the scale of Life and they indulge themselves in the premature cognitive commitments of their beliefs and accept it as the ultimate knowledge of reality. They become stuck and suffer the resulting conflicting laws of the lower and higher planes as their inner nature, unbeknownst to them, yearns for relief of the bondage of the lower planes. It is important that an open mind is maintained if we as humans are to remain flexible and teachable in order to continue advancement in the scale of Life. Eventually we will master the plane that we dwell upon as well as the planes below us, and we are as teachers to those who have not yet attained the degree of enlightenment as we have, but those of us who have made the effort to advance on the scale of Life will always be as humble students and remain subservient to the causations and manifestations of the higher planes of being. We will be as students to those Beings, who like us, have passed upon the path before us and they too are subservient still to even higher causations and manifestations that at the moment are unthinkable to the human race.
And so, the Infinite Creator causing all of LIFE and Being to move onward and upward on the scale of LIFE brings a rapid change in the rate of vibratory energy and the quickening of Space and Time and causing change in all things as it draws all of manifested reality back into the itself where all things have had its beginnings. All does not stop here because the SPIRIT of LIFE is constantly manifesting and withdrawing between the manifested realm and un-manifested realm. Everything is and isn't at the same time. In the scriptures there is a passage somewhere that says that, "it is, it isn't, and yet it is...." The passage explains that the realm of SPIRIT is an illusive reality to the mortal bound and materialistic mind that will always be found wandering about. For this reason can some things be logically explained and follows the empirical knowledge of man as conceived by the human Mind, while there are things that do not follow human reasoning and defy the senses as well as scientific treatment.
If evolution is non-existent as postulated by some of the personal and religious thinking, then there would be no suffering, no upward advancement, and no technological progress in Life. We would all be alive and well in the Plane of Mineral or Vegetable Mind, perhaps even lower, hoping that we will not be consumed by a higher life form. But we need not to worry because we would not be capable of such reasoning. We simply accept our fate and eagerly yield ourselves to the higher life form for consumption without the ability to defend ourselves or to know the meaning of suffering. In this sense, is ignorance bliss.
There are a great many subdivisions of thought within the Plane of Human Mind. The person who has developed a greater mental awareness of reality, will understand the reality of his brother or sister upon the lower plane of thoughts and who struggles to understand and cope with daily Life and living, nevertheless, each have a firm footing upon the Path.
The students of the school of Arcane Wisdom will understand and appreciate the teachings of Yogi Ramacharaka as he wrote:
To our students, we would say: During the struggle ahead of the race, play well your part, doing the best you can, living each day by itself, meeting each new phase of life with confidence and courage. Be not deluded by appearances, nor follow after strange prophets. Let the evolutionary process work themselves out, and do you fall in with the wave without struggling, and without overmuch striving. The law is working itself out well--of that be assured. Those who have entered into even a partial understanding and recognition of the One Life underlying, will find that they will be as the chosen people during the changes that are coming to the race. They have attained that which the race is reaching toward in pain and travail. And the force behind the Law will carry them along, for they will be the leaven that is to lighten the great mass of the race in the new dispensation. Not by deed, or by action, but by Thought, will these people leaven the mass. The Thought is even now at work, and all who read these words are playing a part in the work, although they may know it not. If the race could realize this truth of the One Life underlying, to-day, the Change would occur in a moment, but it will not come in that way. When this understanding gradually dawns upon the race--this new consciousness--then will Things take their proper places, and the Lion and the Lamb lie down together in peace.....

The Soul continuously incarnates and re-incarnates as it cycles between the Great Physical Plane and the Astral Plane of Being and continues to return to an earth life that has advanced in Spiritual awareness and technologicaly. The human Soul awakens from its deep sleep and returns through re-birth to become physically incarnated again. The soul too has advanced as it has learned to discard outlived and outmoded beliefs and ideas from its previous life during its deep slumber and has been recharged with vitality and a desire to once again experience conscious awareness and its interaction with the Great Physical Plane.
Numerical definitions of the Universe are aspects of space and time where, for example, distances are measured between two celestial bodies in space, two or more points on an imaginary line, as is the distance from home to work and back and home again. The lapsed time of travel is measured by the speed between two points but there is always a coming from and going towards. However, when the human Mind rises consciously to the higher Planes of reality, it will discover that the aspect of space and time becomes diminished, warped, and eventually non-existent. On the rising scale of the Great Physical Plane, the material plane with all its subdivisions, slowly shades into the higher Astral Planes where an infinite variety of vibrational frequencies of Life and Being exist in the absence of mass. The Physical Universe slowly shades into pure Spirit where physical mass is non-existent. Therefore is the measurement of space between two objects in this region impossible because there is no "space" to speak of. A very strange but wonderful phenomenon of Spirit.
It is in this region of reality that makes instantaneous travel possible to the most distant galaxies and other dimensions of our Universe without traversing great distances between two objects, or subjects. Even if great distances were traveled at the speed of light, which is 186,000 miles per second, it would still take billions of years to arrive at the most distant celestial objects. Traversing these enormous distances with current technology of locomotion would render it "impossible" to the human Mind. In due time the human Mind comes to the realization that there are other ways and means of traversing these great distances effortlessly. But for the moment, it remains off limits to the human race that is too busy in the entertaining and pacifying of its consciousness with an insatiable greed for money, power ( in the relative sense), and control over other humans which are qualities of the animal plane. These qualities are unsustainable in the human Mind and prevents humans from focusing on higher ideals that will open planes and dimensions previously believed to be non-existent. But evolve, the human race will, however painful their experience may be as they are unable to sustain their minds on the animal plane.
The immutable swinging pendulum of the cycles and keeper of the equilibrium, perpetuates constant change in all things and can in this matter be merciless and painful for those who resist change. Many may gnash their teeth and clench their fists, nevertheless, they are always subject to the cycles and equilibrium of their own being. If it were now possible for Napoleon, Hitler, or Stalin to speak upon this subject, if they learned anything at all, they would be able to impart to the world, at least to those who are able to hear, a great wisdom regarding constant change. There are others who will follow in their footsteps, and who will learn too, that they are unable to sustain their insatiable greed for money and power. Greed and selfishness will bring an imbalance in all things accompanied by immeasurable human suffering, but the pendulum will always compensate for the imbalance by dissolving the cause of the offending source upon its return swing and bringing back into equilibrium that which was unbalanced. Unbeknownst to the corporate structures of the world, they are subject to this immutable Law of Equilibrium that will make them either wealthy and prosperous, or become dissolved in the wayward pile of dissolution.
A few corporations have succeeded and captured wealth beyond expectations bringing prosperity to themselves and those who work for them while others because of their greed will struggle for survival and will eventually become dissolved if they do not change. They are unable to recognize the Law that can bring them wealth and prosperity beyond their dreams. The Law of RHYTHM operates in perfect harmony and maximum efficiency within the Universe. The effects of RHYTHM is observed in the daily charts of the financial market place but its power goes unrecognized.
The Universe does not struggle in the continuous process of creation, its causations are effortless, because it operates in the absence of greed and theft. If a corporate structure can mimic these principles, its ambitions will become effortless as well, and it will gather wealth beyond its wildest dreams. But only few humans will be able to perceive this Truth. As for the rest, the struggle continues.....
In the spectrum of reality, "As Above, so below....," the human eye is capable of observing far more subtler realities than the current race is capable of perceiving when allowing an advancement in the limited personal belief system. The eyes can only see what the human mind allows it to see and blocks the realities beyond which it believes to be non-existent. When the eyes are commissioned by the mind and allowed to "see," the eyes of a person will discover that the atmosphere is charged with particles that dash to and fro and making the atmosphere very much alive. Those who read these lines may have already observed the light emitting globules that travel rapidly through the atmosphere. No, it is not your imagination, a brainwave disturbance, or any defect of the eye, or any other mental or physical disturbance. You are observing the active action of Pranic substance in the sustenance and maintenance of Life in all of Nature including our bodies. The rapidly moving globules of Pranic substance in the air is the SPIRIT of the Creator going about the business of constantly creating and diminishing, in the constant change and renewal of all things on the Physical Plane. SPIRIT is constantly advancing all things Divineward in the process of evolution. SPIRIT itself is the unchanging cause of constant change and renewal. Pranic substance is the evidence of the Omnipresent SPIRIT.
The nervous system of the human body, as are the bodies of lower and higher life forms are saturated with Pranic substance enabling Life and living. It is the Life Force in all things. This extremely fine and tenuous substance is gathered, assimilated, and distributed in the human body by the Astral body which itself is extremely tenuous and is responsible for the sustenance and maintenance of the physical body. The physical body is contained within the Soul which has no form or shape and extends far beyond the physical features of the human body. It is impossible to define in physical terms the features of the Soul because it exists as a constantly whirling and vibrating whirlpool of Life and Light in the Pranic web that pervades all of space. Its position in Spirit is above that of Space and Time. For this reason, is the SOUL Eternal and untouchable by the process of entropy and resulting mortality which is only entertained by physical bodies that cycle through the beginningless cycles of Life, death and rebirth.
The individual human Soul has no borders or boundaries to cause separation from the Universal SPIRIT that contains and pervades the Universe. Each human Soul as well as that of animal or any other entity is seamlessly connected to the Universal SPIRIT of the CREATOR without interruption or discontinuity. It is because of this unifying Principle that all things are interconnected, and we humans, are connected to each other, nature, and to the planets of our Solar System and beyond, that enables the ancient science of the Zodiac (Astrology). There is no such thing as being separate --it only appears that way.
The question might arise, "How will the billions or more Souls exist in the same Space when they are all infinite?" Because the realm of SPIRIT is a strange phenomenon that does not behave like space and time where no two bodies can occupy an exact locality or point in space. Physical bodies either animated or inanimate, have clearly defined physical shapes and sizes that can only occupy a single point or location in space. In other words, no two humans can stand in the same spot at the same time. It would be impossible for two physical humans, or any other object, to occupy the exact same space at the same time unless their physical bodies would merge together. If that was the case, than it can no longer be considered a "physical" feature. On the Mental and Spiritual Planes, only the waveform aspect of all physical objects exist as various wave forms of energy that exists within a single field of intelligent energy, or SPIRIT.
This is most difficult to describe and not easily transferred into an intelligible language, but it can be observed with the individual Mind. Moreover, a person who would take the time and trouble to study this phenomena with an open mind will discover many wonderful things and comes to the realization and recognition of the ONE LIFE underlying all things. The potential of this Knowledge will boggle the human Mind and raise the consciousness of the human race into states of consciousness that was previously considered to be impossible or non-existent.
This Soul, which is far larger (in all directions) than the Astral body, is constantly sampling the vibratory energy in the surrounding environment and enables the intuitive feelings of the person who has taken the time and effort to focus their attention upon intuition to develop these feelings and thus awakening the intuitive faculties of the Mind.

FLOW CHART
Created in 1992
This flow chart was created sometime in October, or November of 1992. It was an abstract picture in my mind as I was attempting to understand it myself. To the person who can look at this chart with understanding, which requires patience, you will be able to see how everything is interconnected in the manifestation of Life and Being. I believe that this chart has holographic qualities. The chart below shows how all of creation is held between the Positive and Negative Pole of God's Infinite Living Mind, or Spirit of which nothing can escape its presence. The chart shows the ascending and descending scale of Life in a person's Mind and the choices that are made with the resulting consequences. Most people fail to recognize the enormity of THE ALL, or God....
